Yes. The Moab–Arches Shuttle uses wheelchair-accessible vehicles. If you use a large power chair or mobility scooter, call Via at 435-220-5628 before your trip to confirm the vehicle can accommodate it. city.ridewithvia.com
What can the shuttle help you reach?
The shuttle connects Moab with the Arches Visitor Center, then serves stops near the Windows and Delicate Arch areas. It can make transportation into the park easier, but it only takes you to its stops; it does not make every trail or viewpoint wheelchair accessible. www.nps.gov
At the Windows, the first 150 yards of the North window trail are fairly level. Beyond that, the path climbs uneven stone steps. The Double Arch trail drops has an immediate slight downslope, but it fairly obstacle free for the first 200 yards. The Delicate Arch shuttle stop is at the trailhead for the hike to the arch. You cannot see the Delicate Arch from this point, but you can visit Wolfe’s Ranch and petroglyph panel. The accessible Delicate Arch viewpoint is 1 mile away from the Delicate Arch trailhead shuttle stop. The only way to reach it without a car is along the park road, with no sidewalk or shoulder. Check the National Park Service’s current mobility-access information when choosing where to go. home.nps.gov
